C – Journey of Faith

When the apostles wrote, their words carried the Hebrew breath of emunah, or faith, which was not a fleeting thought or a one-time choice, but a trust that bore weight, a loyalty that endured storms, and a steady walk that left footprints in the dust. Yeshua’s faithfulness to the Father opened the door; our faith was the step of trust that followed Him through it. Faith was a lived way—meals shared, burdens carried, and a people bound together under their King.

But as the message spread into Greek and Roman worlds, its form changed. What started as simple trust became defined by adherence to doctrine, church sacraments, legal rulings, and finally by personal choice. Over time, faith was distilled into a quick act—raising a hand, praying a prayer, feeling assured. Yet beneath all these layers, the ancient path of emunah still remains: the long journey of trust, practiced in community, and daily shown through love.
